I like dissonance

I thought it was very well done here. I agree with sirtom91 down there about the fast piano thing. I found the bass riff to be positively sexy.

No hard feelings

I don't know what the deal with your last song was. In any case, you should learn from any criticism and make it better it each time. The reason we, well, the reason I comment is to give constructive feedback. That's the reason we submit our audio to the audio portal besides promotion is to make it better. Our ears are biased and you've got to open your mind to that. With that said, people can be heartless, and I know how much harder it is to produce decent audio recordings with real instruments on a low budget.

With this little comeback, I would like to hear a clearer guitar, especially the lower notes. In regards to your vocals, not bad. The opening "You" confused me because it set me up for dethklok or sometihng. On the last perfect, I propose two options, keep the note stable, or make a more definite vibrato or whatever type of embellishment you were going for

DJRevenge responds:

thank you for the critisism in an intellogent manner. The deal with my last song was that i had posted it for some intellogent feedback like you have given me thank. You of course are correct. and all i receieved on my last submission was a very immature review. I literally made that up on the spot. It took me 39 seconds to write, one sec to push play and and 38 to play it. It was an improve peace.

Really cool

My only suggestions would be to turn up that one little melody when the major theme drops out at the beginning. Also, there's a bit too much feedback between :36 and :53

I'm surprised.

that i found this funny. As irritating as it is on loop, I couldn't help but like all the things in the background like the whistle and cheek flapping.

cheers

sparhawk56 responds:

lol. well thank you very much. and yes, i agree. It gets quite annoying after the third or fourth time ;)

Not my bag of chips but well done

I often find the trouble with most guitar driven productions is rhythmic.

this however was dead on and I found myself rocking out for all 42 seconds of it

I love your ambience, it's really pretty great

boom de yahdah boom de yahdah boom de yahdah

Yeah, what everyone else said. It's got a great feel and never bores which is often the problem with ambient music.

Soundshifter responds:

haha, im glad i could mak ambient interesting for you! thanks for listening and commenting :)

Thanks for lengthening it

5/5 10/10 and a favorite

feels good man

battleshield responds:

It's good but it just feels like it's missing something. Go listen to some Tower of Power and i'm sure it'll come to you

ypsksfgos responds:

thanks man ill try working on it some more, see what i can do.

Sounds good.

I'd love to game to this. My only complaint (and this is minute) is that for it to stand alone as a song I would like an intro with more substance. It kind of clotheslined me.

Mr-Dark responds:

The guy jumps at you in battle, and it immediately initiates. It's better in the game, really, but not much different. If you like RPGs, you should give Golden Sun a try.

It's definitely good.

To make it better, make sure the piano is turned down and that the vocal section is sync'd up properly with the piano. its just a smidge off

cheers
