Sounds good.
I'd love to game to this. My only complaint (and this is minute) is that for it to stand alone as a song I would like an intro with more substance. It kind of clotheslined me.

The guy jumps at you in battle, and it immediately initiates. It's better in the game, really, but not much different. If you like RPGs, you should give Golden Sun a try.
Minimalist but not bad by any means
gonna agree with vince, the beginning could at least be shortened a bit. The rest of it was eerie and intense
yep, thanks. :D
i really tried to make it a little bit shorter.
I dont even like trance
and i found this to be highly catchy and entertaining
good synth choices and balance.
thank you, i believe your the 5th person ive converted into enjoying Trance music, i must be getting good
I'm just confused
The feedback hurt my ears. and there are times when the rhythm just doesn't feel together.
ok. thanks for the review. :|
Ever listen to any Venetian Snares?
He has some similar ideas although i will admit, you're more inside the box.
I enjoyed this. My only complaints are that sometimes there's just a bit too much going on that it's overwhelming and that the ending felt abrupt.
I've noticed that cluttered sound and I try to avoid it but sometimes I like it.
Suggestions
1st riff - not rhythmically interesting so an interesting beat would be needed to make it work.
2nd riff - harmonically the most sensical, sounds like it would belong in a trance or techno piece. It's not an extremely stereotypical progression either so it would be interesting
3rd riff - plug it into a synth instead of the piano and it may sound fairly reminiscent of old gameboy music. program a stable, comprehendable beat because the melody is so complex it needs something to glue it together.
These are just my suggestions of what i would do with those riffs. They have good potential for song material.
yeah the first one was suppose to e like an intro to a song i was thinking about, but i gave up and just started doodling
yeah i kinda tried to make the second one not so cliche trance sounding , i guess i hit the mark
third one was basically a bastardization of a keyboard solo by Sonata Arctica, but if i can figure out where the gameboy noises are in fl, ill give it a try
thx for review
Catchy but not a musical breakthrough
While i feel like i've heard it a million times, it still sounds good! Somehow i know this running through my head will keep me up tonight.
Thanks for the review! I tried to be somewhat more original in the second part, where the chord progression changes drastically, but I know what you mean. What can I say? I'm a sucker for retro music!
Worth the work
Great sound quality. very soothing. The bongos are a nice effect. must've taken a lot of patience if you did it the way you said.
Lots and lots of patience lol was tempted to just duplicated and forget but wanted to have some personality in it =)
